For each person native language is an important element of cultural awareness. It accumulates traditions and experience of previous generations and can convey their descendants. Our first words we pronounce in native language and it helps to express our opinions. It is the basis on which all people develop their identity from the moment of first breath, and it is what sustains us throughout life.
Ukrainian language passed the hard way. However, in spite of all the barriers, for many millions of people it was is a native, a language of their grandparents, parents and will be the language of their children.
