This time visitors of the event, and there were more than 70 people, enjoyed one-man performance "Experiments of newest inquisition" dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the birth of Russian writer and playwright Anton Chekhov (1860-1904). The character of this theatrical performance once again became a longtime friend of the museum, Honored Artist of Ukraine Yurii Zherebtsov.
Without any exaggeration, the show was "a great success" due to several factors, chief among which were high professional skills of the actor and well chosen artistic play during the theatrical performance which actually turned the monologue into a dialogue with the audience. The key to success was also an emotional background of one-man performance, well complemented by appropriate background music. By the way, as usually, a sound engineer of the one-man performance became Volodymyr Babiiuk. Emotional waves and lyrical music made the appropriate impression on the audience, ninety percent of which were women, and what was especially pleasant – they were of different age audience.
The atmosphere prevailing during the event, the warm welcome of the actor, grateful audience applause at the end of the performance, on the one hand, and on the other hand, the sincere gratitude of Yurii Zherebtsov to viewers and museum staff once again questioned well-known thesis "In times of war the Muses are silent". History often proves otherwise – time of war and terrible trials increases demand for art, as an antidepressant and salvation from terrible present life.
And the event held in the Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum is an excellent proof.
