An exhibition dedicated to the Artist's Day has been opened

On October 7, 2021, an exhibition of works "Bright World of Creativity" dedicated to the Day of the Artist was opened in the Art Museum.

During the time when the museum was opened to visitors after a long break in 2001, holding this exhibition, which presents all the variety of styles, trends, techniques of the creative palette of artists of our region, has become a tradition.

The exhibition presents works by local artists: bright and expressive, rich in color and sophistication, which present different genres of fine arts. The exposition is based on the works of members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. The paintings of the head of the Kirovohrad regional organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Andriy Khvorost, the People's Artist of Ukraine Mykhailo Nadezhdin and the Honored Artist of Ukraine Andriy Nadezhdin attract attention with an unusual creative idea.

As always, the high level of painting technique and color is demonstrated by the bright works of the Honored Artist of Ukraine Serhiy Shapovalov and his brother Anatoliy Shapovalov. It is interesting to note that A. Shapovalov's painting depicts a portrait of Serhiy Gavrylovych Shapovalov. The unique decorative style is demonstrated by the works of Honored Artist of Ukraine Felix Polonsky and Igor Smychek.

Harmonious realistic painting is represented by paintings by Alexander and Lyudmila Demidenko, Vasily Koval, Anatoly Kimnatny, Dmitry Tarasenko. The high level of skill is demonstrated by unsurpassed portraits of Valery Davydov, among which the portraits of artists stand out, in particular the portrait of our fellow artist Peter Ossovsky The exposition is decorated with exquisite graphics by Olga Pungina and decorative works by Olga Kolomiets.

The exhibition presents creative works of artists - teachers of the children's art school named after Alexander Osmerkin - Vladimir Plitin, Alexander Kiryanov, Irina Zantaria, Roman Tkachenko. Decorativeness is a characteristic feature of the works of Vladimir Volokhov, Olga Krasnopolskaya, Natalia Fedorova. Watercolor paintings are represented by bright works by Larysa Kulinich and Lyubov Guseva. Among the presented works it is worth noting the works of artists who are to join the ranks of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine - Iryna Kukharenko and Yulia Malezhik.
