On June 1, 2021, an exhibition of works from the museum stock collection "Children's World" dedicated to the International Children's Day was opened at the Art Museum.
At the international level, Children's Day was launched in 1949 by a decision of the session of the International Democratic Federation of Women. In our country, this holiday is established by the Decree of the President of Ukraine from 1998. The celebration of Children's Day was introduced in order to draw the attention of the general public, organizations and government agencies to issues aimed at the practical implementation of measures to ensure the welfare of children around the world. International Children's Day has its own symbol. This is a green flag, which depicts our planet, around which are children's figures of different races and nationalities. Every year our institution holds various events for children: interesting exhibitions, programs, tours in the form of games, many workshops, quizzes and competitions. After all, the museum is designed to develop creative abilities, preferences, helps to find talents. At the exhibition of works of art "Children's World" you can look and immerse yourself in such a fabulous and at the same time realistic world of children.
The basis of the exhibition are works written in the era of so-called "socialist realism". The exhibition presents the work of the genius artist Vladimir Fedorov "Portrait of Hannus" (1958), whose work represents an entire era in the fine arts not only Kirovograd, but the whole country. The exposition is complemented by the work of Amschey Nuremberg "Etude. Autumn Day ", which depicts a woman with a child against the background of the beauty of nature. In his landscape works, the artist subtly conveys the beauty of nature, admires it.
A bright and extraordinary achievement of Ukrainian artistic life is the work of Bronislav Domashin. In the painting "Portrait of a Daughter" (1963), the artist depicted his daughter on a beautiful summer day in the middle of wildflowers. In his paintings there is a love for his native land, for the land where he was born and lived, for the people he sang about in his works. His landscapes are diverse in plot and mood, and the bright painting of the artist awakens in us the same feelings that filled his vulnerable heart. Tamara Khitrova in her work "Olenka" (1964) portrayed a girl lying on a rug in the middle of the interior of a children's room drawing in an album.
Therefore, we invite all residents and guests of our city to visit the museum and, having got acquainted with the exhibition "Children's World", to plunge into the world of a child, full of sincere desire to learn about life.
