…I have enough freedom to speak about those thing that worry me.
Because all artists have an opportunity to be heard,
especially in the epoch of globalization and digital technologies…
In November 2021, an exhibition of works by Alina Davydenko (Lindau) entitled "Special Ones are Among Us" was opened at the Art Museum.
Kropyvnytskyi and its citizens have got acquainted with the exhibition projects of a talented artist Alina Davydenko twice. In April 2019, the regional philharmony presented a charity photo-art project "Special Ones are among us" about children with autism, indigo and just children with different disabilities. It combined painting, photography, children's creativity and their unique life stories. This extremely important event was aimed at changing the perception of people diagnosed with autism, people with their own worldview, unusual for us.
In August of 2021 in Kovalivsky Park, Alina Lindau, accompanied by wonderful music, presented to the public an exhibition of works "Femininity", in which she revealed the delicate nature and tenderness of the beautiful half of humanity. "For me, femininity is like a religion of spirituality that lurks within each of us. It cannot be explained, it can only be felt. She`s constantly in the process, like a flower that has blossomed, that is about to open and release a mysteriously seductive scent that envelops everything around! ” - this is how the artist describes the concept of femininity.
In general, Ms. Alina has been creating her paintings for eight years. For her, a picture is a message. A message that should highlight social issues. Creating her works with a spatula, she already knows the ultimate goal. The style and message of the work is determined long before its appearance. The individuality of each picture is color, emotion and thought. Alina is the author of many projects - "Femininity", "Inside", "Special among us" and "Save the planet".
Exhibitions:
- April-May and October-November 2014 - "Source of Emotions" (Kyiv);
- June-July 2016 - "Discover yourself" (Odessa);
- May-July 2017 - "Fall in love" (Lviv);
- October-November 2018 - "Fall in love" (Kyiv);
- April 2019 - "Autism. Special Ones are Among Us "(Kropyvnytskyi);
- August 9, 2021 - "Femininity" (Kropyvnytskyi).
And Alina Lindau created a mural in the NGO № 6 in Kropyvnytskyi. With the help of teachers and students, the artist painted the walls in the courtyard of the school, painted the sky, clouds and romantic scenes on the walls.
Participated in the 10th Easter Charity Auction. The stock collection of the Museum of Arts contains a painting by the artist "Inspired by Norway".
At the exhibition of works "Special among us", which is opened in the Museum of Art, Alina Davydenko continues to use paints and brushes to reveal such a necessary topic - the world of special people. The exhibition presents 12 emotional paintings that carry a certain message to humanity, even in their names: "One Whole" (2020), "I Need Contact" (2019), "Normal parents and their children" (2019), "Souls" (2021 ) etc.
Unfortunately, in society, the idea was formed earlier that we do not have children with disabilities. But in the last decade, the state has begun to pay attention to those families raising children with such diagnoses and their problems. Thanks to inclusive education, which promotes adaptation in the society of children, there is an opportunity to socialize and provide an opportunity to communicate. By the power of art, with the help of creativity, the artist changes the attitude to them in her project:
"Our people react incorrectly to children with such diagnoses. And the reason for this reaction is not that they are aggressive or ill-mannered, but that they do not know exactly how to react. After all, they don't talk about it, they don't teach it, so our goal is informative, but through art. Especially for me personally, because my younger brother has autism, and I have lived with this pain for 13 years. I know many parents who raise children with autism, I have a lot of information about it, which I want to share”. Ms. Alina presented the oil painting "Turn Your Magic On" to the stock collection of the Art Museum.
