Press release of the exhibition of works by young artists "SOVUSHKA`s VERNISAGE - 2021"

When children draw –

the whole world freezes

and becomes kinder and brighter.

And they want to share a drop of the world of children's fantasies with you!

On October 22, 2021, Sovushka Art Studio celebrates its fifth birthday and presents an exhibition of talented artists Sovushkin Vernissage - 2021 at the Art Museum. Almost a hundred "little owls" have been preparing for it for several months and are looking forward to their audience. Believe me, they have something to surprise you!

Sovushka Art Studio is a space where children have the opportunity to create easily and with inspiration without the limitations of a boring curriculum, and adults to realize old dreams and master any new art technique. The studio has been running for 5 years and Sovushka is constantly evolving in completely different directions. “We dreamed of opening an art studio for children and adults, where we could implement cool ideas and teaching methods. And we succeeded! We have the best team of teachers who are in love with their work and students. We are constantly coming up with new workshops and formats of creative learning. We organize art events and hold open exhibitions in museums and galleries of the city. The mission of our studio: “Not just to teach, but to give an opportunity to create. After all, everyone is able to create a masterpiece with their own hands. We believe in this and are ready to help! ” - This is what Tetyana Storozhenko says about her "brainchild" with enthusiasm.

The youngest children 3-6 years old enjoy fun interactive classes on the development of imagination and creative thinking. Playing, they easily master all the basics of fine arts: from the names of colors and figures - to modern artistic techniques.

Studio classes in classical painting, composition and sculpture are held for young artists from the age of 7. In them, children learn artistic literacy and learn to freely express their emotions and feelings.

Teenagers are enthusiastically studying the course "Learning to draw anime", which has become very popular. In such classes, children learn the secrets of creating anime characters, learn to anatomically draw the human body, face, hands, feet, clothes and the environment in which they are.

Adults are offered creative evenings, where they learn to paint on canvas with oil paints.

And most importantly - "Sovushka" unites families through the joint work of parents and children, teaches parents to develop their children creatively and listen to their wishes.

 Pupils of the studio constantly take part in various competitions, charity events and exhibitions. In particular, in April 2019, the Easter Charity Auction was held for the tenth time in our museum. And the children gladly provided their group work "Summer Morning" (2018), which is now in the city ambulance. In September 2020, an exhibition of plein air works dedicated to the City Day "Portrait of the City: Architectural Pearls of Yakov Pauchenko" was opened at the O. Osmerkin Art Memorial Museum, and in October eight students of the studio became winners of the Leonid Bondar Youth Palette 2020 art competition. The children received diplomas and awards from the members of the competition jury. We would also like to note the constant participation of the studio leaders and their "sovenyats" in numerous events of the Art Museum, in particular, holding interesting master classes during the traditional "Night of Museums”                                      

On October 22, Sovushka Art Studio celebrates its fifth birthday and presents an exhibition of artists - Sovushkin Vernissage - 2021. Young "Soviets" have been preparing for it for several months and are happy to share their work. In the pictures you can see playful dogs, dogs, bunnies and chanterelles, juicy still lifes, fairy-tale dragons and unicorns, bright birds and inhabitants of the underwater kingdom, architectural structures of our city and spaceships, works in the style of "anime". This year the studio presents 115 creative works of its pupils aged from 3 to 15 years.

For the fund meeting of the Museum of Arts, the head of the Art Studio Ms. Tetyana Storozhenko handed over gouache drawings by Tertychna Eugenia "Central Ukrainian Lyceum-Boarding School" and Rusinska Maria "Still Life with Sunflower".

Happy birthday, "little owls"! We sincerely wish Art Studio "Sovushka" further creative achievements, rich and interesting activities, inquisitive students, boldly conquer new heights and preserve their bright artistic personality!

 On her birthday, Sovushka could not leave visitors without presents. The leaders of the studio have prepared pleasant surprises - holiday tricks, aqua make-up and delicacies!
