On November 9, 2021, the Art Museum opened an exhibition of works of art by Anatoly Egorovich Suzyumov (1941-2017) "Palette of Creativity" to the 80th anniversary of his birth.

The artist was born in Chirchik, Tashkent region, Uzbekistan on November 9, 1941. His childhood and adolescence were spent in Saratov. From 1960 to 1963 he served in the Soviet Army. Thus, he visited Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi) for the first time, because after graduating from the sergeant school in Penza, he was assigned to a military unit in a city in the center of Ukraine, which was still far from him at the time.

From 1964 to 1968 he studied at the Saratov Art School. From 1969 to 1970 he worked in the department of aesthetics at the radio electronics company in Saratov. After graduating, he acquired knowledge in practice in the district houses of culture, decorating them, as well as plaques, posters, banners.

In 1971-1972 he lived and worked in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. In 1972 he worked as the head of an art workshop in Atkarsk, Saratov region. From 1973 to 1983 he worked in the art and production workshops of the city of Kirovograd. In his spare time he took a sketchbook and went on his creative journey. The artist's brushes covered the city streets, parks, alleys, bridges, cars… He loved to work from nature, although at the same time he created many lyrical and fantastic works.

The artist worked in the technique of watercolor, painted in oil and pencil, tempera and pastel. Landscape and still life are the leading genres in the works of Anatoly Suzyumov. His creative work includes portraits, landscapes, still lifes, thematic paintings, which are often symbolic. Anatoly Egorovich had many exhibitions. One of them, together with his brother Valery Suzyumov, took place in the OO Osmerkin Art Memorial Museum, which also houses and exhibits the artist's works. The works have been repeatedly exhibited in the regional art museum, art salon, in the halls of the charity fund "Woman. Family. Mercy ", at the Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko, etc.

Anniversary personal exhibitions of the artist opened in 2006, 2011 and 2016 at the Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum (now Kropvnytskyi Art Museum), including "Art Watercolors", "Creative Portrait of Anatoly Suzyumov", "The City I Live In", and thematic creative meetings and participation in others. cultural, educational and exhibition projects. Many works exhibited at exhibitions, the artist donated to the museum. In total, the museum collection includes more than 100 works by Anatoly Egorovich.

Anatoliy Egorovych worked a lot, created in the open air, took an active part in amateur art. He was a soloist of the concert group "Otrada", engaged in active exhibition work.

Kirovograd region became his second home. Therefore, it is no coincidence that in his work a special place is occupied by landscapes dedicated to our land. Many of them were made during the annual art action-plein air "Kirovograd region - through the eyes of artists", which took place in Dobrovelychkivka, Novoukrainka and Onufriyivka districts.

The exhibition presents several works, such as: "Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin" (1994), "Memories of Childhood" (2000), "Majors", "February" (2007), "Autumn near the Plant" Red Star "," Central Square "(1999). ), "Still Life with a Samovar" (1972); "Marigolds" (2003), "Bouquet of Daisies" (1978).
