Exhibition of works "On the Wave of Life" by artist, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Vasyl Koval

On September 3, 2021, the Art Mueum opened an exhibition of works "On the Wave of Life" by artist, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Vasyl Koval dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the artist's birth. This is the second personal exhibition of Vasyl Koval, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, at theArt Museum.

Vasyl Bogdanovich Koval was born on March 1, 1986 in the village of Kolodruby, Lviv region. In the same year the family moved to the village Severinka of Kirovograd region. In 2002 he graduated boarding school № 2 (Kropyvnytskyi). In 2002, Vasyl Koval entered the art department (art and graphic department) of the Faculty of Arts of the Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko (Kirovohrad State Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko) in Kropyvnytskyi (Kirovohrad). Valery Davydov, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, was the curator of the group in which Vasyl Bogdanovych studied.

In 2007, Koval VB entered the painting department of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture of Ukraine (teacher - Professor Valentina Gavrilovna Virodova-Gauthier) (Kyiv). This is not the first time that the young artist's works have been exhibited in the museum.

Thus, Vasyl Koval took part in the exhibition of works by Valery Davydov, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, and students of the graphic arts department of the Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University (Kirovohrad Volodymyr Vynnychenko State Pedagogical University), which was exhibited in 2006. In 2007 he took part in the art action-plein air "Kirovograd region - through the eyes of artists" in Novomyrhorod district, for the Independence Day of Ukraine, as well as in the exhibition, which was organized as a result of the action. In 2009, as part of the Year of Youth in Ukraine, the Art Museum (Regional Art Museum) opened an exhibition of works by students of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture of Ukraine Vasyl Koval and Seda Adilkhanyan, which presented mostly paintings by the young author.

In the same year he took part in the art action-plein air "Kirovograd region - through the eyes of artists" in Vilshanska district to the Independence Day of Ukraine and to the 235th anniversary of the resettlement of Bulgarians to a modern Vilshanka and in the exhibition following the action. 

On February 16, 2011, an exhibition of works by Vasyl Koval, a student of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture of Ukraine, opened at the museum. Five solo exhibitions were opened during 2016-2019 by Vasyl Koval in private galleries in Kropyvnytskyi. Fifty-four paintings are presented at the exhibition of works "On the Wave of Life" by the artist, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine) dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Vasyl Koval, presented at the Art Museum realistic landscape to modern composition. In the collection of the Museum of Arts, the artist will submit two paintings "Sunset" (2015), n, o, 40x50, "Spring has come" (2019), fiberboard, 40x50. The staff of the Art Museum sincerely congratulates Vasyl Koval on his 35th birthday and with the opening of a personal exhibition!
