On October 8, 2020, an exhibition of works of art dedicated to the Day of the Artist was opened at the Art Museum of Kirovohrad Regional Council. Holding this exhibition, which presents all the variety of styles, trends, techniques of the creative palette of artists of our region, has become a tradition. The exposition presents the works, received by the stock collection of the Art Museum based on the results of All-Ukrainian plein air, which took place on the basis of 50th anniversary All-Ukrainian festival of theatrical art "September gems" - Art project "The world through the eyes of artists".
These are twelve works by the guests of the holiday, artists from Kyiv and Ivano-Frankivsk: Svitlana Shil, Fedir Mateychuk, Oleksandr Koltsov, Svitlana Gramm, Valentyna Plavun and Maria Vinnichuk. The exhibition also presents works of local artists, participants of the art action - plein air "September Gems-50", established by the Art Museum in September 2020. Theatrical themes, architectural diversity of the urban landscape, picturesque corners of our city and cradles of theatrical art "Homestead Nadiya" impres with fresh colors, a variety of techniques of author's performance and professionalism. These are the works of the head of the regional organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, Andriy Khvorost, members of NSUU Valeriy Davydov, Anatoliy Kymnatnyi, Olga Kolomiets and other artists-participants of the action: Iryna Zantaria, Myroslava Lypa, Iryna Kukharenko, Oleksandra Kiryanova, Olga Krasnopolska, Iryna Tereshchenko, Anna Tatarova, Dmytro Skoreyko, Yulia Raisha , Maria Voichenko, Yulia Tarasova, Marina Bezugla. The exhibition presents other works by local artists: bright and expressive, rich in color and refinement and presenting various genres of fine arts.
Among them are the works of members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, in particular the expressive paintings of Honored Artist of Ukraine Felix Polonsky, Anatoly Shapovalov, Alexander and Lyudmila Demidenko, decorative works by Vasyl Koval, interesting ceramic works by Mykola, Nela Firsovykh and Larysa Kulinich. Vladimir Volokhov's painting, Natalia Fedorova's decorative painting, and Oleg Rudy's bright abstractions also deserve viewers` attention.
