We invite you to immerse yourself in childhood! On October 28, 2020, the Museum of Arts presented an exhibition of works by young students of the Art Studio "Sovushka", dedicated to the birthday of the studio, "Sovushkin Vernissage - 2020".

Our future is centered in the hands of talented children and, of course, adults, who help to reveal the talents of young artists. The development of creative abilities helps to get to know our world better and is best facilitated by learning the fine arts. In our city there are many places where you can learn drawing, modeling and painting, but Art Studio "Sovushka" stands out among them.

The founders of the studio are artists-magicians, masters, teachers with many years of experience Tetyana and Svetlana Storozhenko. The studio is filled with warmth and care of these women. It is cozy and incredibly atmospheric at home.

“We dreamed of opening an art studio for children and adults, where we could implement cool ideas and teaching methods. And we succeeded! In 2016, Sovushka opened its doors to creative children and adults. The most important idea of our art studio: we do not just teach - we give the opportunity to create! Classes in the studio are based on the author's programs and methods with an individual approach to each student. We have the best team of teachers who are in love with their work and students. We are constantly coming up with new formats and ways of creative learning, "says Tetyana Storozhenko.

The studio is 4 years old and it is rapidly developing in completely different directions. The youngest children 3-6 years old enjoy fun interactive classes on the development of imagination and creative thinking. They easily master all the basics of fine arts while playing: from the names of colors and figures - to modern artistic trends and techniques.Studio classes in classical painting, composition and art history are held for young artists from the age of 7. During these classses, children learn artistic literacy and learn to freely express their emotions and feelings through their works.

Adults are offered a lot of interesting professional master classes: various modern painting techniques (watercolor sketching, oil and acrylic painting); creating interior decor; stained glass and textile painting; batik and much more. And most importantly - "Sovushka" unites families through the joint work of parents and children, teaches parents to develop their children creatively and listen to their desires.

On October 28, Sovushka Art Studio celebrates its fourth birthday and presents an exhibition of drawings by young artists - Sovushka`s Vernissage - 2020. Those young artists have been preparing for it for several months and are happy to share their achievements. You can see an incredible, bright world of childhood at the exhibition. The pictures are blooming with fabulous flowers, purring cats, walking wild beasts and flying spaceships. This year, the studio presents 93 creative works of its pupils from 4 to 13 years old. This year was difficult for the studio, as well as for many. We had to adapt to new living conditions in isolation. But the teachers of the studio continued to keep in close contact with the students online. Initially, teachers recorded video lessons in drawing and papermaking, and later began conducting live lessons through online conferences. In addition, during the quarantine owls created a new form of training - online workshops. Materials for the craftsmen were sent by mail in special art boxes, and the children, together with the teachers, had the opportunity to make toys, holiday cards and cute decorations to lift their spirits.

Another reason for the pride of teachers was the involvement of adolescents in the studio. In six months, the course "Learning to draw anime" has become mega popular among teenagers in the city. During this classroom, children learn the secrets of creating anime characters, learn to draw a person's body, face, hands, feet, clothes anatomically correctly and the environment in which they are. Pupils of the studio constantly take part in various competitions and exhibitions. So in September of this year in the art-memorial museum O.O. Osmerkin, an exhibition of open-air works of pupils for the City Day "Portrait of the city: architectural pearls of Yakov Pauchenko" was opened.

The exhibition presented the works of students created during the summer plein air classes of the studio. In the pictures, the children depicted the houses of our city, built according to the projects of the talented architect Yakov Pauchenko, which enchant with their exquisite beauty and arouse admiration among the residents and guests of the city.

In addition, in October, 8 students of the studio became the winners of the Art Competition "Youth Palette - 2020" named after Leonid Bondar. Children received diplomas and awards from the members of the competition jury. Happy birthday, studio! We wish the Sovushka Art Studio further creative victories, attracting a wide audience of its fans to interesting events, conquering new heights and preserving its artistic individuality! Head of the art studio - Tetyana Storozhenko handed over the drawings of Angelina Kryvokhyzha "Family" and Olga Korpusova "Fern Flower" to the stock collection of the Art Museum.

P.S. On its birthday, "Sovushka" can not ignore its fans. The leaders of the studio have prepared a pleasant surprise for the visitors of the exhibition of young artists! Look for details on the studio's Facebook and Instagram pages and be sure to visit the Sovushka`s Vernissage at the Art Museum!
