The opening of the exhibition of «The Not-Firing Fire» will be held on the basis of an artistic action - a plein air in the city of Pomichy Dobrovelichkivskyi district of the Kirovograd region dedicated to the memory of " the artist, musician Victor Osipenko (1958-2016) and the artist's day on 9th of October in the department of the Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum - Petr Ossovsky's "Peace and the Fatherland" art gallery.

It should be noted that last year a plenum was held in Pomichna town. The initiators of this event were the Council of Pomichna Town, which with the assistance of the chairman of the council of the regional organization of the Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments Nadiya Lisnyak turned to the regional art museum and in conjunction with the museum held this action at the invitation of the Pomichna City Council.

Therefore, continuing the last year's tradition, from 21st of July to 23rd of July in 2018, a plein air dedicated to the memory of a wonderful person, artist and musician Victor Osipenko (1958-2016) was held in the city Pomichna in Dobrovelichkovsky district of the Kirovograd region. On 22nd of 2018, Viktor Ivanovich could be 60 years old, but unfortunately, two years ago, he passed away.

Members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Valery Davydov, Anatoliy Kutnanny, Igor Vyshnichenko, a painter from Novgorodka and Roman Tkachenko, student of the art faculty of the Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University, took part in the plenary session. V. Osipenko worked in the direction of oil painting and graphics. The genre range of his work is very wide: landscape, still life, portrait, thematic composition, etc. The artist was constantly in a creative search. There are works performed in the traditional realistic manner and experimental work performed in the spirit of modern times in his portfolio. Often these two directions are combined on one canvas. It should also be noted that the individual direction of the artist's work was iconography.

Victor Ivanovich has passed away on 28th of June in 2016.

Participants of the plenary session express their sincere gratitude to the Osipenko`s family for their hospitality, warm reception and support in conducting this action.
