On August 29, 2018, the Kirovohrad Oblast Art Museum was visited by outstanding guests: twenty artists from different regions of Ukraine. They came to Kropyvnytskyi in order to participate in the "Picturesque En Plein Air" and reflect unique views of our city in their works. This event, to which also ten local artists will join, will become an important part of the program of the National Art Festival "Kropyvnytskyi -2018", which aimes at cultural and art development of the region as well as at the formation of its attractive tourist prestige.
Impressive is the level of representatives and the geography of this creative forces: Svitlana Anoshkina, Andrian Babiuk, Tsezarii Hanushkevych, Andriy Kutsachenko, Oleksandr Lutskevych (Lierman) (Kyiv), Karyna Voloshko, Alla Khmel, Halina Khmel (Kharkiv), Yehor Dulyn (Lysychansk), Hryhorii Vovk, Anatolii Horbenko, Anatolii Kravchenko, Mikhailo Spornyk (Odesa), Oleksandr Kara (Izmail), Mykola Borovyk (Zaporizhzhia), Liudmyla Borosh (Uzhhorod), Anatolii Zhytariuk (Chernivtsi), Serhii Zavadiak (Irshava), Vasyl Kondratiuk (Zhytomyr), Fedir Mateichuk (Ivano-Frankivsk). An excellent illustration of the thesis "Ukraine is indivisible!". The local artists also join the event: Serhii and Anatolii Shapovalov, Ihor Smychek, Vasyl Koval, Valerii Davydov, Andrii Khvorost, Anatolii Yaniev and Anna Petrenko.
The Oblast Art Museum prepared a pleasant surprise for the guests: the exhibition of its collection's works, the authors of which are the participants of the above mentioned en plein air. The exhibition displays about 40 works, which can satisfy any aesthetic preferences of the most demanding audience. The vast majority of the masterpieces includes great lyrical landscapes, the authors of which are our local artists. The exhibition also represents the works of our city guests: Karyna Voloshko, Anatolii Horbenko, Anatolii Kravchenko, Andrii Kutsachenko, Oleksandr Lutskevych (Lierman), Fedor Mateichuk.
We hope, that represented exhibition will be a crusial step on the path to the systematic and fruitful cooperation of our Museum with Ukrainian artists. It can provide an opportunity to worthily represent the creativity of these artists in the well-known Art Pearl of Steppe Hellas.
