On August 17, 2018 the exhibition "Popelnaste. Immersion in silence" will be opened in the Petro Ossovskyi "World and Homeland" Art Gallery, which is the section ofKirovohrad Oblast Art Museum. . The exhibision bases on the results of en plein air in Popelnaste village of Oleksandriia district of Kirovohrad oblast.
The plein air itself occured on July 2-4, 2018 in Popelnaste village of Oleksandriia district, within the framework of the traditional art event -"Artists' vision of Kirovohrad oblast " en plein air. The group of artists was working in the picturesque village, reproducing picturesque landscapes in their works. The participants of the en plein air were: Head of the Kirovohrad Oblast Organization of National Union of Artists of Ukraine Andrii Khvorost; Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, Professor at the Art Department of Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University Valerii Davydov; artist Ihor Vyshnychenko (urban-type settlement of Novhorodka, Kirovohrad oblast); artist Kostiantyn Tytarenko, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine; the Head of Petro Ossovskyi "World and Homeland" Art Gallery - the section of Kirovohrad Oblast Art Museum - Anatolii Kimnatnyi.
The exposition contains about 30 works, written in en plein air. Also, here you can see photos, dedicated to Popelnaste and created by Valerii Zhvanko - the teacher, journalist, photographer, laureate of the oblast ethnography prize, named after V. Yastriebov.
The results of the artists' en plein air will also be represented at the art exhibition at the Cultural and Educational Center in Popelnaste village.
