Finally, when such an expected summer surprises with an unusual mix of heat and coolness, on June 27, 2018, the Creative Fantasy exhibition of students qualifying artworks of the Artistic and Graphic School of the Art Department of Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University was opened in the Oblast Art Museum.

After graduation from the Artistic and Graphic School of the Art Department of Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University, the special decisive moment has come, backed up by the years of study, hard work and creative quests. Traditionally Kirovohrad Oblast Art Museum is an artistic pearl of our land; it implements joint creative projects with students of this legendary educational institution, which was the alma mater of plenty of modern intelligentsia representatives, including the majority of the museum's staff members.

The exposition represents about 60 artworks, which, with their harmonious combination, give visitors an opportunity to delve into the world of creative fantasies, to feel the emotions fascination and to find something special for themselves.  There are works of fine arts and crafts, made in various styles and techniques. Professional oil painting, graphic arts, ceramics, papermaking, decorative painting, etc. After all, this Creative Fantasy is full of daring ideas. It reveals us the wonderful facets of the student's soul and tells the story of creative ideas and thoughts of each of them.

The attention is attracted by the landscapes and still life paintings' variety of color schemes and plots. The variety includes relaxing artworks of Inna Sanzhara - On the Banks of Pivdennyi Buh. Sunrise; On the Banks of Pivdennyi Buh. Noon; On the Banks of Pivdennyi Buh. Quiet Evening;  of Viktoriia Kondratenko Impression (curator: T. M. Stritievych - the Head of the Fine Arts and Design School, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor) - restraint of colors and smooth transitions. Bright open-air painting is represented by the artworks of Liubov Shakhman Blossoming Region, Memories of Childhood, Delving into the Summer (curator: V. M. Davydov - Senior Lecturer of the School of Fine Arts and Design, Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine). Peaceful views of Bohdan HerashchenkoBoundless Spaces (curator: L. O. Kulinich - Senior Lecturer of the Department of Fine Arts and Design). Senior Lecturer of the School of Fine Arts and Design.

Graphic artworks of Karina MelnichenkoKyiv. St. Andrew's Church; Odesa. Opera House; Lviv. At the Cathedral, attract by the game of light and shadow, expressiveness, plasticity of the lines. Art pieces tell about the young artist's journey to find inspiration. The incredible musical composition interwoven with the state of the human soul is embodied in a series of watercolor artworks by Olha Dashenko -warm, incredibly-gentle autumn landscape Nostalgia in D-minor, Enlightened in F-major, Anticipation of B-flat Minor. Unusual creative element of the exposition, executed with the use of modern technologies by Mykola Khvorost depict a scene design for "AGRO-EXPO" exhibition, which embodies the shape of a modified umbrella (curator: L. H. Husieva - Lecturer of the Fine Arts and Design School). The variety of watercolors are complemented with the sensual flower compositions by Bohdana Belenchuk Scarlett, Iryda (curator: Yu.M. Malezhyk - Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Fine Arts and Design School).

In addition, who remembers the illustrations of the old, romantic, tragic love of W. Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet? Young and talented Uliana Shkurenko is full of inspiration and succeded to create an interesting series of illustrations entitled The Design of the Book by V. Shakespeare Romeo and Juliet, basing on this very story. Oleh Mastipan is fond of Ukrainian mythology, what inspired him to create an unusual triptych Forest Song in the technique of papermaking, based on the famous work of the same name by Lesia Ukrainka. There is the wide oak, Mavka, and Lukash, as well as the symbols of Berehynia.   Another triptychThe Lords of the Heavens by Kateryna Kukhta made in the technique of collage using backlight and black semitransparent grid, which help to play with plots and change the depth of artwork perception. The art piece tells us about birds. Also there are presented the linocut by Alona Pasiuha - Memories about Sea (curator: O. A. Punhina - Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of Choreographic Disciplines of Fine Arts and Design School).

Difficult art of ceramics was mastered by Liliia DanilovaZvii (Roll), Wind; by Natalia Dmitriieva- decorative composition Steppe Herbes;by Daria Hurman composition Elements (curator: L. O. Kulinich - Senior Lecturer of Fine Arts and Design School).     

Creative skills and talents were demonstrated by Daryna Poida  - Harmony, Peace - oil painting; by Katerina Nyzhnyk - Tree of Life - a decorative painting, with the plot of 12 art works (curator: L.O. Harbuzenko- Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of Fine Arts and Design School).

Unusual Diploma Projects were provided by Daria Safoshkina -the calendar with well-known reproductions of wealthy ladies portraits Tetiana Kosenko -album-guide MODERN Style Architecture of Yelysavethrad, which includes old city monuments of architecture and premises of the Oblast Art Museum, the house of merchant I. Polianskyi - Passage - with the detailed description of the architectural elements in cut (curator: O.I. Kyrychenko- Candidate of Art Studies, Associate Professor of Fine Arts and Design School).

Such Creative Fantasy is the variety of works and techniques and made it possible due to the whole galaxy of highly professional teaching staff, which awakened the talents of young students, their aspirations for knowledge. Curator helped to shape the tastes and ability to express their creativity in shapes and colors. Moreover, today, owing to the hard work of both sides of teams, we have the opportunity to go to the exposition hall to enjoy the fountain of impressions and emotions, to see the familiar, surrounding world in the original performance of young talents. Every work impresses with its uniqueness and the courage of creative design. This exhibition will satisfy any artistic taste, even taste of the most demanding and meticulous visitors.   We hope that in the future, talented young people will surprise with their unexpected visions of our present day reality by combining it with the elements of Ukrainian national traditions.
