On June 13, 2018, the display of works - Symbols Dynamics was opened at the Kirovohrad Oblast Art Museum on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, ceramist, teacher Anatolii Mykhailovych Dvorskyi (1948-2010).

On June 13, 2018, the artist fellow citizen Anatolii Mykhailovych Dvorskyi could have turned 70 years old. Unfortunately, in autumn of 2010, he tragically died ... Today, on this warm June day, we recall the life and creative path of an infinitely talented, without exaggeration, person.

Anatolii Mykhailovych Dvorskyi was born on June 13, 1948 in the village of. Mechyslavka, Ulianovka district, Kirovograd oblast. He graduated from Kyiv Art-Industrial College (Department of Light Industry and Electrical Goods Artistic Design), Lviv State Institute of Applied, and Decorative Arts (Art Ceramics Department). After receiving education, he worked at the Kirovograd Art and Production Complex of the Art Fund of Ukraine as an artist-designer. He immediately drew attention with the unconventional approach to the design of the facades and interiors, and with peculiar imagery of ceramic plastics. Since 1999 - member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Constantly he participated in the city, oblast and republican art exhibitions: Physical Culture and Sport (1983), The World and Youth (Kyiv, 1985), Blooming Ukraine (Poltava, 1990), Colors of Steppes (Kyiv, 1994). Artists of Ukraine (Berlin, 2003) and others. His works are stored in museums and private collections of Ukraine, Poland, Germany, and Russia. His art was awarded with the O. Osmorkin Oblast Award in the field of Fine Arts and Arts Studies in the nomination New Directions (2007).

Anatolii Mykhailovych was an inexhaustible artist; he was in constant motion and actively experimented with such different techniques as painting, graphics, carving on wood, monumental art, ceramics, glass, acrylic, metal.

Anatolii Dvorskyi's art works are easily recognized and well known by citizens of our oblast. Such works are created in the monumental genre. This is a mosaic panel for the cinema Yatran (not preserved), voluminous graffiti of the building of the Pobuzke ferronickel plant and the hotel Pobuzhzhia (Holovanivka district), triptych on such topics as Motherhood, Music, Dance (building of Registry Authority in Petrove) the panel The Muse of Science on the facade of the Central Ukrainian National Technical University, painting The Life Power of Water (Swimming Pool in Smoline House of Culture). Has the author of this Press Release ever thought that in childhood, swimming and diving in the pool of the Children and Youth Center in Smoline, many years later I will be acquainted with such a talented and well-known monumental artist Anatolii Dvorskyi?

Also, among his works there are also amazing ceramic sculptures Records Woman, Cunning Crow and Marsianka (Mars female inhabitant). Everyone knows about the memorial table dedicated to the sotnyk (Ukrainian centurion) Mark Mamai in Mamai Yar near Tsybuleve, Znamianka district.

In Dvorskyi art works observant viewer can note vivid colors, extraordinary action energy, some incredible interweaving of the brush and the pencil, which creates symbolic image. Expressiveness and dynamics of symbols provide some peculiar fantastic power and expression to all his works. Famous art critic, Honored Journalist of Ukraine Bronislav Petrovych Kumanskyi describes the art of the artist fellow citizen: "Anatolii Dvorskyi is an artist, not satisfied with the traditional artistic language; he is looking for ways to convey to the viewer his own opinion or to induce reflection. His creative style is rather complicated, requiring a sudden entry into the author's imagery and his tone mood. The author's creative techniques are quite varied depending on the theme... ".

Another talented facet should be noted in this person - this is the art to be a teacher. Anatolii shared his experiences with youth, teaching sculpture, plastic anatomy, prototyping and icon painting in Kirovohrad Institute of Regional Management and Economics (now-PHEI "University of Modern Knowledge"). The artist is honored and remembered with warmth and smile for his wonderful sense of humor by teachers and former students of this educational establishment.

On November 6, 2008, the museum opened his solo exhibition to the 60th anniversary of his birthday, and represented over fifty paintings, executed in various techniques.

On May 12, 2009 in cooperation with the Kirovohrad D. Chyzhevskyi Oblast Universal Scientific Library, the exhibition of ceramic works by Anatolii Dvorskyi was held. The exhibition included ceramic custom-made products, created in 1976-78 when the artist was studying at Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts.

On November 11, 2011, the museum hosted the exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of the artist fellow citizen. The exhibition covered the most important works of all the years of Anatolii Dvorskyi's creative activity and brought together true connoisseurs of the outstanding talent of the artist.

The exposition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the artist presents works from the stock collection of the Oblast Art Museum: made with acrylic Self-portrait of the Jubilee (2008) and Spring Seduction (2008), oil canvas Kupala (2003), Rainbow (1994), Tbilisi Spring (1991).

Each artist is thinking about his/her mission... Anatolii Dvorskyi does not give any comprehensive answer to this question in his works - he invites us to find this answer, unique for each of us, at the same time without losing the role of the artist, his duty to people and art...
