Pavel Vasilyevich Bosyi - known not only in our country, but also far beyond its borders, a scenographer, historian and ethnographer - today presents an exhibition of photographic works "Light and Dance" in the regional art museum.

The purpose of the photographer P. Bosogo is "to capture the spirit, atmosphere and liveliness of direct performing arts ... to convey how elements of visual technologies, lighting, projection, etc. help choreographers and dancers to create not only the atmosphere of dance, but ... to structure the aesthetics of dance ...". This photo exhibition was created on the basis of materials from the choreographic department of the Rayerson School of Performing Arts (Toronto, Canada), focusing on the collection of photographs - the interaction between light, body and movement. In addition to the author's photos, the video presents choreographic plays.

Professor Tanya Eivendi, a professional ballerina and former soloist of the National Ballet of Canada (currently working at the Rayesonian Performing Arts School), joined the creation of the exhibition, Svetlana Kukharenko was engaged in the translation of English texts, Pavel Vasilyevich's student Ancelo Peljegi, who collected information for the exhibition, and graphic designer Sergey Zaplatnikov

The exhibition "Light and Dance" became another element of many years of cooperation of Pavel Vasilyevich Bosyi with the regional art museum. Since the late 1980s, Pavel Bosey began to show theatrical performances and concerts at the museum's exposition. He was curator of the exhibitions "Contemporary American Theater" (2007) and "American Scenography Today: The Works of Teachers and Students at the University of West Virginia" (2005). Also in 2003 and 2015 there were personal creative exhibitions of Pavlo Bosogo, in 2011 he held an interesting workshop for museum historians of all Ukraine on the topic "Creation of Web Sites of Museums"; "Etiquette. Texts in Expositions »; "Practice of the Art Museums of Europe and the USA: Exposition and Educational Work", and in 2012-2014 Pavlo Vasilievich created scenography, lighting and design of costumes for several monos from the Museum Theater project and others.

During the opening ceremony of the exhibition were: Oleg Babenko - Director of the State Archives of Kirovograd region, head of the regional organization of the National Union of Local History of Ukraine, congratulated Pavlo Vasilyevich on opening the exhibition and Andriy Hvorost - the head of the regional organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Particularly warm and moving words were heard from Nadiya Lisnyak - the chairman of the regional organization of the Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments, and from the Congress of Writers of Ukraine congratulated the author of the exhibition Anatoly Yurchenko.

This exhibition became possible thanks to the 2016 Creative Innovation Fund Faculty of Communication and Design of the University. E. Reiersson (Toronto, Ontario, Canada).
