On November 9, 2016 Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum opened an exhibition of artworks by Anatolii Yegorovych Suziumov "The town where I live" dedicated to his 75th anniversary.
During cold autumn days all fans of fine art, who visit the regional art museum have the opportunity to see the exhibition of Anatolii Suziumov "The city where I live." In this anniversary year for the artist we are able to admire his works and plunge into the world of beauty.
The exhibition, presented in the Regional Art Museum presents 37 works that belong to different genres - portraits, landscapes, still lifes, subject pictures. The artist uses watercolors, oil paints, and also, tempera and pastel.
When viewing the exhibition visitors can not miss the landscapes "The view on Balashivka" (2015), "The quarry. Village Ternove" (2001), "Autumn. River" (2016), "Biliaievskyi rate", "Village Lozuvatka" (2016), for each of which the author found an appropriate artistic and imaginative manner, and a number of still lives that attract with their purity and freshness: "Still life with samovar" (1972); "Marigold flowers" (2003), "A bouquet of daisies" (1978).
Anatolii Yehorovych Suziumov was born in. Chirchik city Tashkent region in Uzbekistan November 9, 1941. His childhood and teenage years were spent in Saratov. From 1960 to 1963 he served in the Soviet army. Thus he first visited Kirovohrad, because after the NCO school in Penza he was distributed to military units in an outlying city in central Ukraine.
From 1964 to 1968 he studied at the Saratov Art School. From 1969 to 1970 he worked in the department of aesthetics at the enterprise of electronics in Saratov. After graduation he assimilated knowledge into practice in regional houses of culture, making decorations, honor boards, posters, banners for them.
In the years 1971-1972 he lived and worked in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. In 1972 he worked as a head of the art studio in Atkarsk Saratov region. From 1973 to 1983 he worked in the artistic and production workshops of Kirovohrad. In his spare time he took sketchbook and started his creative journey. The painter depicted city streets, parks, alleys, bridges, machines... He likes to work from nature, while at the same time he creates a lot of lyrical and fantastic works.
He began to participate in exhibitions in 1970.

- March-April 1999, O.O. Osmerkin Art Memorial Museum (joint exhibition with his brother Valerii Suziumov);
- March 2000, Charitable Foundation "Woman, family, charity";
- November 2006, Regional Art Museum;
- 2011, Regional Art Museum.
The works that were exhibited at the personal exhibition in 2006 were presented to the museum by the artist.
In January 2012, in the Museum Department - Petro Ossovskyi Picture Gallery "World and Fatherland" the artist held a meeting with students of the Higher School of Human Development Institute "Ukraine".
Landscape and still life are leading genres in the works by Anatolii Suziumov. A separate page of his works is landscapes featuring views of the city and the region. Many of them were made during the annual art event, pleinair "Kirovohrad through the eyes of artists" held in Dobrovelychkivskyi, Novoukrainskyi and Onufriievskyi areas.
Anatolii Yehorovych is a regular visitor of exhibition projects and activities of the museum. He is always interested in exhibitions of other artists.
Family, friends and colleagues of Anatolii Suziumov visited the exhibition opening. During the grand exhibition opening the congratulations speech was given by the chief editor of the "Central Ukrainian education" newspaper Valentyna Bazhan, who thanked Anatolii Yehorovych for his creative achievements, fruitful cooperation and wished many years of creative activity to the anniversary celebrant. The member of the Ukrainian National Folk art Union Viktor Luhanshchuk addressed the artist with the warm and sincere words of support. The poet Tetiana Berezniak read greeting poems. And the warmest greetings were from the concert group "Otrada" led by Klavdiia Ariehieva who performed for the hero of the day and their leading singer the song "Meeting of friends"
