"Beauty from threads"

This is the second project on promoting of unique embroidery masters creativity, whose works can be seen with the eyes closed.

 January 15, 2015 in the Exhibition Hall in RegionalArt Museum was deployed small works exhibition "Light thread of fate" by Tatiana Protcheva. This exhibition, which, by the way, included only five embroidered works from the collection of artist, held as a promotion of the masters upcoming exhibition that the author planned to introduce in the gallery "Yelisavetgrad." But due to the unpredictable changes in terms of the gallery "Yelisavetgrad» the exhibition reopens in the museum.

Tatiana Protcheva is from Kiev. Without special arts education ishe perfectly captured both traditional and latest technology of modern embroidery. Talented masters created a new art direction «3D» Embroidery «Glow Art». In 2010, inKiev was opened Museum of embroidery with an unusual "Living Gallery".

In the category of "Art for the first time" Tatiana received a bachelor “Book of Records Ukraine” for the presentation of a new method of image special embroidery thread, glow in the dark, monochrome embroidered icon" Jesus Christ in the crown of thorns "in the technique of cross onto cotton canvas.

A unique collection of world names embroidered in the International Art Project «Glow Gallery». Photos of Steve Jobs, Leonardo da Vinci, Taras Shevchenko, Jesus Christ manifested in the dark  and become like interlocutors with the visitor.

The creativity of Tatiana known not only in Ukraine, but also abroad. In recent years, a collection of unique works (paintings, biblical studies which are luminous in the dark) exhibited at the Expocentre of Ukraine, Kyiv-MohylaAcademy, Vernadsky Library, Museum of Pavlo Tychyna, the British Council, the Parliament of Ukraine; in the United States, France (Embassy of Ukraine), Japan (EXPO 2005), China (EXPO 2010), Scotland, Israel, Brazil and others. Embroidered master works are in museums and private collections of the Ukrainian and foreign elite. Tatiana Protchyeva is really worthy represents Ukraine at the global level, the modern art of Ukrainian embroidery.

The exhibition presents the diverse creative heritage of artist. In particular, these are embroidered icon of  “Volodymyrska Mother of God “, “Mother of God of Kazan”, “St. Nicholas”, “Seraphim of Sarov”, “Jesus Christ,” “The Prayer” icon in 3D “Jesus Christ” and embroidered towel with the image of the face of Jesus Christ in the traditional colors, which is typical for Central Ukraine, embroidered into prayer of Optina elders; a series of prominent personalities, “Hippocrates”, “I give, I present” – portrait of Halshka Hurevychivna”, ”Anna Yaroslavivna – Queen of France”, “Charlie Chaplin” and floral motifs: “Tree of Life”, “Christmas tree”, “Oak”.

Printed materials highlight the career of the master of Ukrainian embroidery Tatiana Protcheva.
