“Wonderworld of Sofia”

On 17 May 2014 in Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum in framework of helding X International auction “Long Nights of Museums”, dedicated to International Museum Day was opened Sofiia Polyvoda “Wonderworld of Sofia”personal exhibition of deciple of folk studio of fine arts “Soniashnyk” of Kirovohrad regional childrens' and youthful creative work .
Sofia Polyvoda was born on 23 December 2000 Crimean Autonomous Republic. Since 2005 she lives with parents in Kirovohrad. She studies in 7 form PVE primary and secondary general school I-III levels №18. From 2006 to 2013 Sofia went to to folk fine arts studio “Soniashnyk” of  Kirovohrad regional childrens' and youthful creative work. The folk studio of fine arts “Soniashnyk” was founded almost 30 years ago. Hundreds of children passed through this school of creativity, kindness and love. From 1990 to 2013 the studio was lead by talanted teacher, excellent in education of Ukraine, senior teacher of design and art faculty of Kirovohrad Regional Management and Economics institution Higher Education Institution “University of Modern Knowledge” Iryna Mykhailivna Zantaria. Sofiia is active participant of international, all-ukrainian, regional exhibitions and festivals. She was repeatedly recepient of prize: of children International art festival “Talants of III millenium”, Kharkiv (2011), festival of Christ's city “Upwards the heart” and international contest “I will create the best things for God” cities Nadvirna, Ivano-Frankivsk (2012, 2013), exhibition-contest of decorative - applied and fine arts “Know and love your land”, Kyiv (2010, 2011), all-ukarainian festival children and youth creativity, dedicated to Worldwide Earth Day in Kirovohrad (2011) and other. The young artist has a big list of awards such as: primary medal of winner International contest “Christmas Tale” in Trakai Island Castle, Lithuania (2012), medal of winner of international exhibition of child creativity Lidice, Czech Republic (2013). Together with deciples of  studio Sofia Polivoda was multiple participant of exhibitions, art contests and auctions, that were opened and hold in Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum in particular:  art auction “Spring open air – 2011 and 2012” of regional contest for the best art work, dedicated to holding of UEFA European Championship “Euro 2012” in Ukraine, the exhibition “Christmas miracle” 2011, exhibition “Angels with us” (2013) and other. Significant thing is that Sofiia from 2008 first time visited Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum and became annual active participant of action, when the museum seven years ago joined to IY International auction “Long Nights of Museums”. At the exhibition “Wonderworld of Sofiia” were presented more than 20 painting art works, which were painted during 10 years. Magnificence of ornament, richness of colours, extraordinary manner of painting became visiting card for Sofiia. At the exposition were presented  different works: religious - "Saint Nicholas", historical - “Holiday of Victory”, “The Victory”. Sun, flowers, nature, mother, fairy-tale characters – it is world of immediacy, generosity, child vision and dreams, which embodied in works - “Happy Family”, “Way to home”, “Two girls who are friends”, “Dendropark”, “Walks in Dendropark”. She created own art world, full of light and populated with wonders in the works “Circus”, “Puppet theatre. Behind the curtain”, “Frog”, “Walk with pet”, “Owner of the forest”, “Matroskin”, “Cat's family”. It is as if a bundle of emitional impression from fairy-tale, legends, and eventually frome the very life. Sofiia's creation phenomenon of amazing fusion of specific thinking, intuition and fantasy. All works combine elegent colour palette, clear rhythm of creation, laconism of painting language, expressiveness and at the same time incrediable delicacy,immediacy and generosity, because she lives in world of beauty, in which you fell in love from the childhood, in wonderful fairy-tale world of colours, which want to present in their works. Except of favourite occupation of fine arts, Sofiia interests in mythology, history, likes nature, likes watching adventure films and reading books.Also she travels much with parents. Collaborators of Kirovohrad Regiona Art Museum congratulate Sofiia and her teachers with opening of personal exhibition and wish further development in the field of art.
