Andrii Kadyhroba works exhibition to the International Lefthanders Day

On 13 August 2014 Andrii Kadyhroba works exhibition to the International Lefthanders Day was opened in Kirovohrad regional atr museum department of Perto Ossovskyi picture gallery «World and Motherland».

International Lefthanders Day – is the holiday, which is annualy celebrated on 13 August.

The history of the holyday began with opening of Left-handers International organization on 13 August 1976. Only since 1992 it was widely celebrated by Left-handers organization. Since that time this holyday became traditional.

Left-hander feel themselves uncomfortable, using such usual things of right-handers as, computer mouse, door lock etc. In Soviet schools it is widely accepted that left-handers are «wrong» children, that's why they were forced to write and paint with right hand. But international community long ago consider left-handers as unique people with distinctive talants. Among them there are many famous persons, such as Kirovohrad talanted artist Andrii Kardyhrob, the works of which were presented at the present exhibition.

 

Andrii Mykolaiovych Kadyhrob was born on April 4, 1981 in Kirovohrad. In 1998-1999 he studied at the Kirovohrad Institute of Regional Management and Economics (KIRME) department of design. In 2005 he graduated from Ukraine National Technical University (former Kyiv polytechnic institute) Publishing and Printing Department.

He uses technique of oil painting,  works in landscape and still life genres, prefers the traditional realistic painting.

He – is active participant of many regional and all-ukrainian art exhibiyions. The personal exhibitions of young artist were hold in kirovohrad regional art museum  (November 2004, April 2007 and April 2011), in Kirovohrad art memorial city museum named after O.O. Osmorkin (April 2006), in «Master» (January 2005 and 2006), «Mykola's house» (October 2007), in the shopping centre of the city Dokha, Quatar (February 2009), in National Sanctuary "Sophia of Kiev" as a part of the project «Treasures of Ukraine museums at the Holy land of Sophia Kyiv» (July 2009). The works are exhibited in private galleries of Kyiv, Prague, Budapest, France etc.

In 2006 by submission of Kirovohrad regional art museum A. Kadyhrob became a prizewinner of The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for special achivements of youth in development of Ukraine in nomination «For creative achivements». Since 2012 – the member of Ukraine national community of artists.

In July 2012 Andrii organized the first regional author «Forest song» festival, that was hold the village Onikieve, Malovyska district.

With active part of Andrii Kadyhroba in Kirovohrad were realized number of interesting projects. One of the most bright among them became Wonder Easter egg, which share with other city-paticipants at the All-Ukrainian «The parade of embroidery shirts» in 2012. In 2013 within the parade of embroidery shirts was created different art-object – Bird of wonder.

The real event in the cultural life of oblast became annual holding of Easter charitable auction, the organisators of which is art-studio of Andrii Kadyhrob, media-group «Whole Kirovohrad and» and regional art museum. This event was considered as part of national competition «Charitable Ukraine». Art-studio of Andrii Kadyhroba, media-group «Whole Kirovohrad» and Kirovohrad regional art museum in nomination «Charitable action of the year» in 2012 became recipient of prize, and in 2013 – it's prizewinner.

The works of artist are preserved in Kirovohrad regional art museum collection, Kirovohrad art-memorial city museum named after O. O. Osmorkin, National Sanctuary «Sophia of Kiev», in private collections of Ukraine, Prague, France and other contries.
