For the first time, exactly in the Kirovograd regional art Museum, a personal exhibition of our countryman is opened. It is the exhibition of a young artist Pavlo Alekseenko, who lives in Odessa.
Pavlo Alekseenko was born on 9 July 1979 in the city of Kirovograd. Since his childhood he had the urge to draw, and in 1989 he entered Alexander Osmerkin Kirovograd city children's art school, where he graduated in 1994.
In 1996-1998 he studied in Kirovograd regional Institute of management and Economics the faculty of industrial design. From 1998 to 2006 Pavlo temporarily ceases to be engaged in creativity, seeking life in another role, but still craving for beautiful defeated in his soul. In 2006 he entered the Hrekov Odessa art theatre school and studied for a degree in graphic artist theatrical events (teacher of drawing and painting A. Barkov). In 2011 he became a certified specialist.
During his study, Pavlo begins to work in his specialty. In 2008 he takes an active part in the decoration of the play "OdesskiyDvorik", for which he was awarded the diploma of the charity Foundation for disabled children. In 2012 PavloAlekseenko participated in the art project called "night at the theatre", which was held in OstrovskiyOdessa theatre of young spectators. In 2013 he takes part in the International festival of cartoons, which took place in Odessa and was dedicated to the celebration of the Day of humor. Also this year he participates in the project "MNO" - Museum of non-existent objects, in the framework of the Odessa Biennale.
It should be noted that this is the first solo exhibition of the young artist in his hometown. It happened that the artist PavloAlekseenko is more known to the connoisseurs of modern art in Odessa. Now we have the opportunity to acquaint with the extraordinary creativity of the master and the devotees of art in his native land.
The exhibition presents 25 works created in the period between 2008 and 2014. These are the works which the artist included in the project "Faces". They reflect the search for their own style and identity, provide an opportunity to feel inner peace and show interesting artistic style of the artist. Each work in its own way surprises by the uniqueness of the creative idea.
Special attention is drawn to the work "Saints" (2010), "Benya" (2012), "Blue-eyed" (2013), "Everything is possible" (2009), "General" (2010), "Zotman" (2013), "Josie" (2013), "Tsar" (2014). The author thinks they allow the viewer to feel the edge of his original project.
In his works, which are presented at the exhibition, Pavlo philosophically tries to develop a theme of the case in everyday life, filled with endorphins of relations and a tendency to magical thinking, but the issue of works does not stop here. Another key theme of the artist is the face and its expression in certain periods of life, which simultaneously express and conceal their emotions.
During the opening of the exhibition PavloAlekseenkopresented to the stock collection of the Kirovograd Regional Art Museum his work "Blue-eyed" (2013).
