«Sensation of taste» exposition by Andrii Lipatov

On 28 July 2014 in Kirovohrad regional art museum will be hold «Sensation of taste» exposition of member of Ukraine national folk art masters union – Andrii Lipatov (1960-2010).

Andrii Yuriiovych Lipatov was born 29 May 1960 in Kolomna of Moscow oblast. Since 1966 he had been living in Kirovohrad. He graduated from agricultural engineering institute. During the studying he was keen on caricature, was printed in periodicals. Over  the time he interested in painting. He worked design engineer. Since 1993, in difficult ninty's, when profesion of engineer no longer needed, he was completely given to painting. Afterwards he started to get invitation to the private viewing and festifals, that gave him opportunity exchange experience with other countries artists.

A. Lipatov – the member of Ukraine national union folk art masters since 1998. Andrii Yuriiovych didn't have art education, that's why  he was considerd himself as na?ve artist. However his works are so peculiar and extraordinary, that we can confidently separate them in new movement, which doesn't have name yet.

The works of artist can be found in Cherkasy regional art museum, in Kirovohrad regional art museum, in O.O. Osmorkin Kirovohrad art-memorial city  museum, in the na?ve art museum (Mosow, Russia), in the na?ve art museum (Beraut, France), in Vihorlat museum (Humenn?, Slovakia), in Volpe Stressens culture fund  (Buenos Aires, Argentina), and also in private collections of USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy etc.

2008 – gallery «EE FINE ART» (Camebridge, Great Britain),

2010 – Kirovohrad regional art musem.

 

A. Lipatov took part in many regional, republican and international exhibitions. On 2004 his works were showed in Kirovohrad regional art museum at the «Kirovohrad in paints» exhibition, dedicated to 250 years of Kirovograd, on 2002 Andrii Lipatov became winner of 7th  international internet-art-competition (Yokohma, Japan), took part in 4th biannual art na?ve festival (Verneuil-upon-Avree, France, 2006-2008) and at the «Artists of the world» international exhibition (Marseilles, France 2006), at the second «Festna?ve -2007» (Moscow, Russia), in 12th Diohen Tabord gallery (Buenos Aires, Argentina, І award in category of na?ve-art 2007). In 2008 the artist took part in Cambridgeshire fair (Linton, Great Britain), in Dublin art-fair (Dublin, Ireland) and Birmingham art-fair (Birmingham, Great Britain).

Andrii Lipatov prepared to the opening of  personal exhibition in Kirovohrad regional art museum, but only after his death his intention became true owing to help of his family.

In 28 May 2010 in Kirovohrad regional art museum the opening of Andrii Lepatov works took place, it is dedicated to artist memory and 50th from the day of birth,on which were presented works from artist family collection, from the  Kirovohrad art-memorial city museum named after Osmorkin, from Kirovohrad Regional Universal Research Library named after D. Chizhevsky, from private collections of Berezkin family,family Tsys, from collections of Yurii Lobovych, Tamara Samiliak, Oleksandr Chudnov, Victor Petrakov, Yurii Matisov, Svitlana Siryk and other private collections. These canvas of different themes: works, dedicated to native town, folk pictures, pictures of last year series «Wheelbarrows» and «Still lifes», portraits of famous Kirovohrad people.

 

Owing to artist family the fund of regional art museum will be still full up with materials, which let us to find out the life and creative way of the artist.

 

This exhibition is one more chance to present creation of famous contryman and to show the works from the fund collections of Kirovohrad regional art museum and from the Victor Petrakov and Tetiana Kriepina private collections.

He died on 49 year of his life, 13 January 2010. Famous Kirovohrad poetess Tetiana Berezniak for the memory of Andriy Lepatov wrote such poetic lines:

 

Soul is bewailing, full of pain!...

Tall and slender, cheerful and handsome,

You lived sincerely, and satisfied everyone by your life,

How your miraculous art-naive gratified us,

 

Where with a rainbow – many-colored paints,

Where at national holiday – your lubok,

Elegantly-bright and, how a happiness, you are light,

You are childly wise, exalted and thoughtful!.

 

Why your life flight was interrupted by the will of time,

Is it impossible to comprehend by the efforts of the mind?

How we feel lonely without your smile!

And winter lasts very long time...

 

The winter will go by... And gladness glorifying,

In Elisavet will came back month of May,

And  towards May, will run, ringing,

Your genious local tramway!..

 

 

 

Life of Andrii Yuriiovych Lipatov was an example of self-sacrificing and unselfish serving for art and creative pursuit. Unforgatable images of native town and it's citizens were made by him. The works of master always were filled with bright, sunny paints and speared with life optimism. In such image he is left in the memory of admirers of his creations.
