Petro Chornomorenko arts and crafts exhibition “Cathedrlas of our souls”
On November 2013 in Kirovohrad Regional Art museum was hold Petro Chornomorenko decorative - applied art exhibition “Cathedrlas of our souls”.
Petro Mykhailovych Chornomorenko was born on 10 July 1944 in Kirovohrad.
From the childhood Petro had inclination with art; mother taught him how to embroider,during two years in art school he mastered the basics of painting, he was participant of amauter talent activity.
The working activity Petro Mykhailovych started in 1960 in “Atelie mod” as student, but later he became master-cutter of tailoring of top men's clothing and continued to take active part in amauter talant activity in palace of culture “Zhovten” of factory “Chervona zirka”.
From 1970 to 1975 he worked as methdologist of folklore and enthography and art of declamation in Kirovohrad Regional House of Folk Art.
Professional concert career began in 1975 as stanup performing artist of Kirovohrad Regional Philarmonic, where he had been working to 2003.
From 1997 to 1999 he was author of humorous children's program “Grandpa Apanas with humor to you” in regional puppet theatre.
P.M.Chrnomorenko - Winner of diplomas and degrees of Republican contests of readers (1963, 1967 and 1972 years), Laureat of the contest theaters (1964), winner of the All-Ukrainian festival of satire and humor "Cherry smiles at the turn of millenniums" (2000).
After he has retired he was ansorbed with multicolored world of embroidery.
At the exhibition “Cathedrals of our souls” were presented 48 works decorative - applied art. The base of the exposition had embroidered work with images of orthodox religious building.
