Celebrations following the results ofthe competition "The healing power of art"

At the end of last year there was a contest for the best work of art called "The healing power of art", which with the support by Kirovohrad regional state administration was conducted by Kirovohrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum. According to the idea of the contestorganizers the received works would be a wonderful decoration of the restored building ofKirovohrad Region Children's Hospital.

The aim of the competition was to attract different categories of gifted children, youth, adults, namely students of art schools, schools of aesthetic education, pupils of circles of fine art and other educational institutions, university students of artistic direction, artists - members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, amateur artists and masters of decorative art and photo artists - members of the National Union of Photographers of Ukraine, photographers-amateurs to active creative work, reflection in the artistic works of a positive image of childhood, creating life-affirming works and reflecting the good.

More than 100 participants took part in the contest,about 250 workswere submitted tothe jury. This contest was an opportunity for children and adults to express their emotions, thoughts and feelings. Apart from Kirovohrad citizens, participants from Vilshanka, Svitlovodsk, Novhorodka, Novomyrhorodtook part in the competition,.

For each category of participantsthe jury selected the best works that took I, II and III places.17 winners were chosen in different age categories and different categories, the authors received prizes. All participants of the contest will get gratitude diplomas.

Kirovohrad Regional Chamber of Commerce recorded works of participants that already decorate building of restored regional children's hospital.

It is well known that art has the potential to radically change our lives. Contemplating works of art, man finds way to health, emotional recovery, it is a kind of art therapy for young hospital patients. So this art therapy for children aims to create a world filled with joy and love.

June 16, 2016 in Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum there was a ceremony awarding all participants. Diplomas and prizes to the winners and gratitude diplomas to the participants were presented by first deputy head of Kirovohrad regional state administration SerhiiKovalenko, President of KirovohradRegional Chamber of Commerce IrynaSaienko, deputy chief doctor of  Kirovohrad Regional Children's Hospital of Nursing Vita Masafranovaand director of company "Interresursy" KyrylMoskalenko.

Contest organizers are convinced that this art project will be a real psychological treatment method and treatment of kids, that is based on creativity and art.
