Theequipmenttransferfor the Regional Oncology Center
On December 13, 2016 there was theequipmenttransfer to the Regional Oncology Center, which was purchased with funds collected during the Seventh Easter Charity Auction.
It should be mentioned that in April in our city for the seventh time there was a charity event, which is held on the eve of Easter in the form of auction - selling works of art. The event was traditionally held in the hospitable Regional Art Museum, and the auction was billed by more than forty lots. It included paintings and other works of art donated by artists, collectors as well as galleries owners.
The funds collected atthe auction, were planned for installation of special equipment in the clinic, which is visited daily by hundreds of patients. But the cost of a computer system that would allow to make electronic queue considerably exceeded the amount of funds collected during the auction. It was therefore decided to purchase equipment that was most needed by different departments of regional oncology center.
In particular, it included high-frequency electrocoagulator EK-300M1 (in total 58 000 UAH) and anoscope and tube complementary to it (in total 28 000 UAH) stapling apparatus for organs UO-60 (in total 45 100 UAH) and a new laryngoscope and accessories to it (19 999.97 UAH.). In general, the sum paid for equipment was 151 099.97 UAH.
Laryngoscope is a medical device used for examination of the larynx. It is designed to facilitate rapid visualization of the larynx without having to align pharyngeal and laryngeal axes. Anoscopeis used for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the rectum. Surgical electrocoagulatoris used for dissection or coagulation of tissue and organs during surgical treatment of patients.
The regional oncology center management stated the relevance of this equipment purchase. They monitored prices and passed the bills for the purchase of mentioned equipment from the producers to the benefactors.
