"Art Extravaganza"

In the beginning of December 2016 in the Regional art museum there was a real artistic extravaganza. It began with the lecture "Seven secrets of painting. The power of imagination" with the participation of a famous artist, poet, painting philosopher Oleh Yurov. The lecture raised the questions of the task of modern art, about aesthetics, success in this area as well as artists. The particular interest in the audience was raised with the questions about child art and why sometimes talented children lose interest in art. Oleh Yurov is a multiple winner of international competitions of haiku, that’s why the lecture participants could plunge into the interesting poetry world of "Japanese poem" and even practice to compile poetic lyrical poems.

Active participants of the lecture became choir singers of Municipal Chamber Choir under the direction of Honored Artist of Ukraine Yurii Liubovych. So the duet of the meters at the party created a real artistic extravaganza. There was a quite creative performance of choir members, who sitting next to the audience performed a series of songs a cappella. These were the favorite songs of the choir. The concert ended with the performance of festive New Year composition "Shchedryk" which was sung up by the whole room. Good mood and positive energy of speakers didn’t leave anyone indifferent.

The art holiday continued with the master class in which each participant under the direction of Oleh Yurov could create a pictorial work, without having any artistic skills. The coach, despite his natural sensitivity, tolerance and prudence worked rather seriously with the participants, pointed out to their mistakes, some of which he corrected himself, doing it in a humorous way. Despite the fact that participants created a group in social networks, they found a common language with each other and the coach very quickly and began working as a whole. During one of short breaks, the participants watched the exposure of the Regional Art Museum, during which they received an additional charge of artistic energy and then set to work again. During two days of master class, the coach gave participants not only painting skills, but also managed to create an aura of true art and ease. Subtle humor of Oleh Yurova combined with his philosophy of art, which together gave the result to the participants, namely moral pleasure, discovery of new facets of life and one’s own picture.
