Masterclass on Making Angel
On 4 January 2016 the masterclass on making a "Fabric Angel” under the "New Year's Creative Workshop" was held in Petro Ossovskyi Picture Gallery “World & Homeland”, the department of Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum.
New Year and Christmas holidays were always filled with mystery and wonder. Therefore, both adults and kids tend to get to know the mysteries of life...
The visitors listened with interest to the story of heavenly gods and angels: guards. About the fact that 21 November is the main day of the cycle of Christian holidays dedicated to Saint Angels. This day is also dedicated to the Saint Archangel Michael, the head of the heavenly host. In the popular imagination Archangel Michael is a brave knight who conquers all the dark forces in our land.
Participants of the master class to look over figures of angels made of ceramics, salt dough, beads, paper, cardboard, thread and fabric with enthusiasm and curiosity.
It was a pleasure that children starting to master class on production of "Fabric Angels” this year wished to make not a single angel, but “Family of Angels”: “father Angel”, “mother Angel”, and children - “little Angels”. That means that full family in children’s imagination is the most valuable in life, the personification of home warmth, comfort and happiness. Indeed, in old times in Ukraine the institution of family was the most important in the scale of family values.
Therefore, we wish the dreams of children and adults to always come true, and peace, prosperity, harmony and family cosiness to be eternal companions of their life.
