«The present time: Spiritual principles of nation revival » (“Patriotism as urgent spiritual need of Ukrainians” round table took place)

On 7 May 2014 in Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum within a framework of «Democracy and Totalitarianism: fight is going on» cycle, involving scientist, historics, museum workers, clergymen, regional ethnographers, public figures, intellectuals of Kirovohrad and all who are not indifferent to the question of spiritual state and patriotism at the modern stage.
One of the organizer who initiated project and as moderator of it's first meeting  was Oleh Oleksandrovych Babenko head of Kirovohrad Regional Organization of Ukraine National Regional Ethnographer Union. Cooganizer also were regional art museum and Open University BO «Central Ukrainian Orthodox Spiritual and Social Academy».
In the discussion of the urgent issued took active part: Sergei Shevchenko candidate of historical sciences, ethnographer, Eminence archbishop Mark bishop of Kirovohrad and Holovanivka of Ukraine orthodox church of Kyiv patriarchate, archpriest Mykola Mykolaiovych Shuliak governance secretary of Kirovohrad eparchy of Ukraine orthodox church of Kyiv patriarchate, Victor Gryhorovych Sharyi   regional otoman of «Buho-hardieieva palanka of Ukraine cosacks »  Kirovohrad regional cossack community and other.
During the discussion were raised questions, as for historical reasons of current military conflict between Ukraine and The Russian Federation, specific differences in mentality, psyhology and ethnoculture of ukrainian and russian nations. Lively discussion calls questions as for "Brotherhood" of these two nations, history of this definition origin, origin of state symbols, etc.
With big interest audience grasp information about roots of Christianity in Ukraine and hierarchy of such concept as love of Fatherland, native land, family.
The paticipants of round table said wishes that  the created project could be continued and gain his further development, possibly, in more extended size.
