"Draw up the artist’s work"
As part of the celebration of Christmas and New Year holidays at the Department of Regional Art Museum, – Art Gallery of Petro Ossowskii "The World and Fatherland", there was a program-contest "Draw up the artist’s work ".
The students of Kirovograd commercial college took part in the program. They made frames of salt for reproductions of works by Peter Ossowskii, which shows the winter sceneries. In their works the competitors were trying to show the festive mood and symbolism of the New Year.
The exhibition of works mentioned above took place at Art Gallery of Petro Ossowskii during Christmas and New Year holidays.
Sizing up the competition was on 14th of January, 2014 – the celebration of "Old New Year".
The winners are Pasichnyk Lera, Stoianovska Khrystyna and Puhach Kateryna. They got as a present printed publications devoted to the world's leading museums, brochures of Regional Art Museum, New Year calendar with pictures of the exhibits and invitations for free visiting.
Implementation of this competition was another bright page in the activity of Art Gallery "The World and Fatherland". We hope that the organization of such events will continue to approximate the works of our countryman artist Petro Ossowskii to the general public of art lovers.
