"A musical gift to Father's Day"

Father's day in Ukraine is still relatively young holiday that appeared on September 18, 2009. Nowadays, according to the project WebPlus.info Father's Day is celebrated in many countries around the world at the official level. In Ukraine the initiators of this celebration were NGO "International Center of Paternity" and national public Committee for the support of families and responsible fatherhood "with the support of the Ministry of Ukraine on Affairs of family, youth and sports. During the press conference, which was held by the initiators of a National Father's Day in Ukraine on September 18, 2009 in UNIAN, it was announced that every third Sunday of the first autumn month (September) is the date on which society expresses its special honor to the human, family and state values.

In September 20, 2014 in the framework of the "Music room" it is the second time in the walls of the Kirovograd regional art Museum we held a musical and literary program with the participation of the public organization "the Theatre of the author's song" and members of the regional literary Association "Sail", dedicated to celebrate Father's Day in Ukraine. At the beginning of the program the head Victor Holiavko informed all participants in the living room about the history of this unusual holiday and its celebration in Ukraine. In this program participated as famous performers as "newcomers" who are music amateurs, but all of them were united by the theme of fatherhood and as it turned out it was the theme of parental love of family and country, the struggle for the independence and integrity of Ukraine. All musical performances took place against the backdrop touching video presentation with pictures of children with their fathers. There were the songs "I paint with my father", "the Song about the father" and many other ones performed by an oncologist AndriyGardashnikov (what does Andriy is a very emotional and "strain"). For the first time in the Museum there were such young performers as bard MykytaVorobiev with the song "Goodbye", "Bird", "Black Board" and the rock band "Against the tide" which with the help of their performance focused on the facts that care young people today: Patriotic theme, single indivisible homeland of Ukraine, the issue of war and peace and the theme of a young man in a difficult time for Ukraine. The soloist of group Dmitry There played the song "Mama don't cry" and "Alarm". Constant participant of musical events Alexander Lomovskii is a poet and musician from Dolinska who sang the songs of Vladimir Vysotsky "Song about a friend" and Alexander Lazarev "Prayer for Ukraine". Heartfelt and warm words came from the lips of the members of the Kirovohrad regional literary Association "Sail" Adele Black and ValeriiMikhailov. They read poetry dedicated to parents and Homeland. In the end everyone was offered "free microphone", there sounded poetic verses and songs that encouraged us all to peace, harmony and love.
