Kirovograd Regional Art Museum continues to work fruitfully with other institutions of general education in Kirovograd region, acquainting pupils with works of famous artists, organizing movable exhibitions, master-classes and interactive programs.
On January 16, 2014, before the Christian holiday of Epiphany, in the s cope of celebration New Year and Christmas holidays, the workers of Kirovograd Regional Art Museum Olena stepaniuk and Tetiana Kostenko held a thematic movable exhibition ”Iconography types of Jesus Christ ‘s babtising” and master-classes of making angels for first-formers of secondary school №18.
The first-formers reviewed the reproductions of icons and listened to interesting talks about Epiphany traditional celebrations in Ukraine. In particular, the story about such national traditional things which have connection to this great holiday : “ordan”, “ardan”, “yordan”, “vodohreshchy”, “vodosviattia”.
After the meaningful theoretical occupation and stories about angels’ world, the master-class of making the angel was held for the children. So, after some time 150 hand-made angels filled the school rooms with festive mood and positive energy.
