CREATIVE MEETING with eminent Russian film director, actor, scriptwriter, composer and artist HEORHII NIKOLAIENKO
On 15th of August 2013 in Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum a creative meeting with eminent Russian film director, actor, scriptwriter, composer and artist Heorhii Nikolaienko was held.
Heorhii Mykhailovych Nikolaienko was born on the 1st of November 1946 in Kirovohrad. In 1971 he graduated from All-Union State Cinema Institute (Serhii Herasymov and Tamara Makarova workshop) and from Higher scriptwriters and directors courses (Oleksandr Mitta workshop) in 1979. Also he worked at Kazahfilm film studio. A member of Russian Artists Union.
His wife is an actress and theatrical educator Valentyna Nikolaenko (Lysenko).
The audience are well aware of his director work in such films as “The fourth year of war continued” (1983), “A Dossier of man in Mercedes” (1986), “Rescued should be in heaven” (1988), “Under the mask of Golden Eagle” (1991), “Utiosov. A life-long song” (2006), “The Hauliers” (2000-2001), “Code of Honour” (2002-2011) etc. He also was a scriptwriter for mentioneв films. Hryhorii Mykhailovych also made his own music for this films.
As it became known, during the creative meeting Heorhii Nikolaenko visits Kirovohrad every year. His parents are buried here. Heorhii Mykhailovych shared his memories with visitors about his first director work and about cooperation with such famous artists as Yurii Nikilin, Evhen Evstygneyev, Inokentii Smoktunovskyi and Lev Durov. Also was raised discussion about situation of Russian and Ukrainian cinema.
The meeting was hold in warm and casual atmosphere. Heorhii Mykhailovych agreed the holding of such meetings in Regional Art Museum during his next visits to Kirovohrad.
Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum thanks to initiator of this event – Honoured Artist of Ukraine, actor of Kirovohrad Academical Regional Mykhailo Kropyvnytskyi Ukrainian Musical Dramatical Theatre – Jurii Zherebtsov.
